Transplant Online Grand Rounds (2020-22)
Series Overview
Lecture series featuring a variety of transplant medicine and surgical topics designed to increase the awareness, knowledge and competence of transplant professionals. Speakers may include transplant surgeons, nephrologists, hepatologists, infectious disease specialists, advanced practice providers and pharmacists.
Intended Audience
UW Transplant Staff (MD/DO/RN/NP/PA), Social Workers, Pharmacists, Students, General Surgery Residents and Nephrology Fellows.
Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this online educational series, leaners will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of current best practices and novel practices in the care of transplant patients.
- Make use of technical advancements in the care of transplant patients.
- Share clinical practice guidelines, surgical methods, research, and best practice guidelines with other transplant professionals who make up the interprofessional care team.
