As a result of participation in this online educational activity, members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- List the critical functions and processes involved in organ donation.
- Discuss factors that impact outcomes and quality metrics in organ donation.
- Explain how changes in allocation have impacted processes within the Organ Procurement Organization.

American Board of Surgery (ABS)
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Surgery's (ABS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS MOC credit.
Participant completion information will be shared with the ABS through PARS. By recording your attendance at this event, you are giving UW-ICEP permission to share this information with ABS.
American Board for Transplant Certification (ABTC)
This enduring activity is approved for a maximum of 1.0 ABTC Category 1 CEPTC hour.
AAPA Credit Designation Statement
The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until 3/1/2023. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
