Series Overview

Pediatrics Grand Rounds are a weekly multidisciplinary and interprofessional conference designed to improve a participant's ability to practice pediatric medicine, including patient care, conducting healthcare research, providing medical education, addressing public health, and implementing innovation.

Target Audience

This activity was designed to meet the needs of health care providers who participate in the care of the pediatric and adolescent patients. This includes, but not limited to: physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners, nurses and trainees (residents and fellows).

American Medical Association (AMA)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 ANCC contact hour.  

ANCC pharmacotherapeutic contact hours will be calculated and awarded as appropriate per session to meet the needs of advanced practice nurses. 

American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) (for select sessions only -- see individual session details)

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 1 MOC points in the American Board of American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Participant completion information will be shared with the ABP through PARS. By recording your attendance at this event, you are giving UW-ICEP permission to share this information with ABP.

Continuing Education Units

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP, as a member of the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), authorizes this program for 0.1 continuing education units (CEUs) or 1 hour.
