Practicing Whole Health I - NWTI Surg Tech: 3/3/2022 and 3/10/2022, 2:00-4:00 CT (2 hours each day)

Practicing Whole Health I builds on the deep listening skills developed in Whole Health Foundations with an introduction to reflective listening: a coaching skill that supports patients to clarify their own values and goals. Learn what to listen for – what really matters to your patients – and how to use this to empower patients in deciding their next steps. Clinicians will also take their own pause-notice-choose experience to the next level with specific techniques to share with patients. The course will end with a deep dive into the Food and Drink area of self-care along with an overview of Whole Health Institute clinical resources and materials that you can share with your patients.

Intended Audience

Clinicians who are interested in exploring Whole Health, considering how it can be used to improve one’s own health and well-being, and implementing Whole Health into their professional practices.
