Series Overview

Multi-disciplinary groupbased discussion and evaluation of new and exisiting cases related to breast cancer patient treatment plans. All aspects of patient cases are reviewed and discussed including cultural issues, barriers to care and possible research trials. Expectations and goals are to give optimal care and improve patient outcomes.

Global Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will:

• Positively impact collaborative, interprofessional care for diverse patients with breast cancer.
• Engage in quality improvement by learning with and from each other through collaborative discussions with the multidisciplinary conference team.
• Demonstrate improvement in Provider communication with patient treatment options  and improve shared decision making per Press Ganey survey.
