Objectives:
- Identify anatomy of the shoulder, including muscular origins and insertions, innervation, and blood supply relevant to plastic surgery.
- List components of the diagnostic evaluation for thoracic outlet syndrome, with emphasis on physical examination maneuvers and imaging studies.
- Recognize and outline treatment strategies for "cording" (axillary web syndrome) and other pathologies impacting the shoulder following breast reconstruction.
