As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  1. Contrast advocacy work with examples of public policy
  2. Demonstrate the importance of long-term, trusting relationships with respect to community partnerships
  3. Identify the current triannual process that Dane County health organizations use to prioritize local population health initiatives
  4. Explain how the Department of Pediatrics teams with the Healthy Kids Collaborative on community based-child health initiatives and how to get involved
