As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Contrast advocacy work with examples of public policy
- Demonstrate the importance of long-term, trusting relationships with respect to community partnerships
- Identify the current triannual process that Dane County health organizations use to prioritize local population health initiatives
- Explain how the Department of Pediatrics teams with the Healthy Kids Collaborative on community based-child health initiatives and how to get involved
