•    Identify reasons rural patients have increased mortality with acute stroke and consider solutions
•    Improve their knowledge of mitochondrial DNA depletion syndromes
•    Explain the challenges faced on the Navajo Nation and apply this understanding to providing care to local Native Americans when appropriate.
