Series Overview
One hour didactic session where speakers deliver clinical, basic science and translational neurology and neuroscience related topics. Speakers include UW neurology department members, including neuropsychologists, researchers, clinical faculty, neurology residents. We also invite other UW clinicians and researchers or invited speakers from outside UW.
Global Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Enhance comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines.
- Evaluate neuroscience research that may be implemented in their clinical or research practice.
- Identify implicit biases through self-reflection and address ways to counteract bias in clinical settings that align with shared values.
- Reduce health care disparities in neurology by identifying opportunites for change.
