Technology has become an integral part of health care delivery; from communicating patient and client medical conditions to prescribing exercises. The usage of technology, specifically smartphones, may be perceived as mainstream technology by health care professional students. Yet, older patients may find the use of smartphones to be a distraction and foster a sense of disconnectedness from the health care provider.
