Dr. Nicholson serves as the Medical Director for Patient Safety and Quality in the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine. He is also the Chair of the DEM Peer Review Committee and a Partner Longitudinal Teacher Coach (LTC) through UWSMPH. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Nicholson then completed his emergency medicine residency training at the University of Michigan where he served as chief resident in his final year. During residency, he completed a Graduate Medical Education Scholars Program in Health Care Administration Scholars Program.
