Objectives:

As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  1. Discuss which ultrasound indications are generally most and least sensitive to presence of a nodule on ultrasonography
  2. Identify motivations for gender affirmation surgery
  3. Discuss the differences between the makeup of anatomic and prognostic staging systems and their ability to predict survival for patients with breast cancer
  4. Discuss the complication rate variance between hemithyroidectomy and total thyroidectomy for micropapillary carcinoma
