Quality Through Quizzing: Applying Microlearning Principles to Clinical Practice - Brian Allen, MD
Clinical anesthesia providers in the Department of Anesthesiology, which includes both faculty physicians (MD, DO) as well as residents or fellows in training, RNs, and clinical anesthetists, comprise the target audience. Other specialties who would benefit from attending include PA, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and students.
Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Outline the educational principles behind retrieval-based learning and how they can be employed in clinical practice.
- Discuss the benefits and limitations for using microlearning in graduate and continuing education and quality improvement.
- Identify and propose microlearning activities that address learner and/or organizational needs.
