Intended Audience

This activity was designed to meet the needs of health care providers who participate in the care of the pediatric and adolescent patients. This includes, but not limited to: MD/DO’s, RN’s, APRN, Residents, Fellows and other Trainees.

Learning Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will increase their ability to:

  1. Summarize the epidemiology of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Wisconsin.
  2. Discuss new options for HIV treatment and prevention.
  3. Examine the risks and benefits of breast/chestfeeding while living with HIV.
