Medication Management in Older Adults - Eileen Partridge, DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC
MD/DO, RN, APRN, Physician Assistants, Clinical Anesthetist, and Students
As a result of this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Describe aging-related changes in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
- Identify commonly used medications that may be inappropriate for use in older adults
- Use prescribing tools to reduce polypharmacy and use of potentially problematic medications
- Coordinate interdisciplinary interventions to promote safe medication use
