Management of Complex Psychiatric Emergencies in Primary Care - Jennifer Fiegel-Newlon, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, APNP
Target Audience
Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), and Physician Assistants (PA). Additional professionals who would benefit from attending include MD/DOs, RNs, and students.
Learning Objectives
As a result of this educational activity, learners will be able to:
- Verbalize symptoms of complex mental illness.
- Identify and manage behavioral health emergencies.
- Complete a Suicide Risk Assessment and administer the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS).
