Image-guided interventions: A lecture in 3 parts - LuAnn Greiner, MS, RN, ANP
Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), and Physician Assistants (PA). Additional professionals who would benefit from attending include MD/DOs, RNs, and students.
As a result of this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Identify the most efficient and appropriate route for referring your patient for an image-guided intervention
- Explain the basic techniques used to perform minimally-invasive image-guided interventions
- Describe the intended and the unintended outcomes associated with common image-guided interventions
- Formulate a plan in collaboration with the interventional radiology team to optimize the post procedure care of your patient
