Intended Audience

Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), and Physician Assistants (PA). Additional professionals who would benefit from attending include MD/DOs, RNs, and students.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  1. Identify the most efficient and appropriate route for referring your patient for an image-guided intervention
  2. Explain the basic techniques used to perform minimally-invasive image-guided interventions
  3. Describe the intended and the unintended outcomes associated with common image-guided interventions
  4. Formulate a plan in collaboration with the interventional radiology team to optimize the post procedure care of your patient
