Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Discuss mechanisms related to hormone release.
- Define primary adrenal insufficiency, myxedema coma, and thyroid storm.
- Discuss and recognize signs and symptoms of each disease state.
- Summarize and apply treatment options for each disease state.
