Intended Audience

Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), and Physician Assistants (PA). Additional professionals who would benefit from attending include MD/DOs, RNs, and students.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this educational activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Explain key aspects of the emergent neurologic history and exam.
  2. Differentiate neurologic emergencies from more benign pathologies.
  3. Triage/select diagnostic modalities based on the differential diagnosis.
