Series Overview
This bi-monthly one-hour educational series will connect frontline clinicians, champions in artificial intelligence (AI) applications in healthcare, and researchers to learn about and discuss leveraging AI technologies in healthcare settings within UW Health and beyond, rapidly evolving AI solutions, and AI governance.
Global Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare or research team, will improve ability to:
- Define key AI-related concepts and technology applications across healthcare specialties and settings.
- Assess bias, ethical issues, roles, communication, and safety for healthcare teams and diverse patient populations raised by various design, implementation, and use scenarios involving AI.
- Use appropriately and responsibly AI-based tools available in clinical and/or research environments.
- Discuss research findings and innovations on generative AI, clinical decision-making supported by predictive models, and the use of AI in medical imaging.
