Series Overview

This series is a dynamic, in-person learning opportunity designed to strengthen your mentoring skills and foster inclusive, supportive relationships in clinical settings. Topics include creating a mentoring relationship, effective communication and feedback, goal setting, managing obstacles, and more.

Global Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  • Improve their mentoring relationships through more effective communication and establishing a safe space to grow.
  • Set more appropriate personalized goals and tackle obstacles that develop through coaching and teamwork
  • Improve the understanding of how belonging influences a mentee's success and can be hindered by unconscious bias

Continuing Education Units
The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP, as a member of the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), authorizes this program for 0.150 continuing education units (CEUs) or 1.50 hours.
