Objectives:
As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, physical examination, imaging and treatment associated with common orthopedic fractures
- Integrate knowledge of preventative orthopedic care, including detection of osteoporosis, in management of acute orthopedic fractures
- Recognize UW resources available across the healthcare continuum for fracture management including subspecialist and consolation services
