Objectives

As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  1. Identify hospitalized patients with opioid use disorder (OUD)

  2. Summarize inpatient management of acute opioid withdrawal

  3. Promote harm reduction practices in hospitalized and discharged patients

  4. Discuss the use of methadone, buprenorphine-naloxone and naltrexone in the inpatient setting
