During this session we will focus on the following:

• Identify treatable hearing loss emergencies and understand the importance of timing when referring for specialty care;
• Perform a meaningful pre-referral evaluation focused on identifying a treatable hearing loss emergency;
• Compare the treatment options available to patients and implement appropriate treatments prior to specialty referral and treatment.
