  • Discuss pathophysiology of atrial fibrillation (AF or AFib), including arrhythmia classification
  • Identify risk factors associated with AF
  • Diagnose AF and identify associated clinical signs and symptoms
  • Determine indication(s) for anticoagulation
  • Examine management strategies and clinical tools for AF
  • Distinguish when to refer to General Cardiology versus EP
