Whole Health Foundations: 12/1/2021 and 12/8/2021, 5:00-7:00 CT (2 hours each day)

December 1, 2021 to December 8, 2021

Transform your clinical environment by focusing first on providers themselves. This Whole Health clinical care experience invites clinicians to experience Whole Health firsthand, since providers who practice self-care are better able to care for their patients. Whole Health Foundations is an experiential course creating a space for clinicians to reconnect with why they entered health care in the first place, and to explore self-care as a way to enhance their own wellbeing. After reflecting on their own life’s meaning and purpose, clinicians learn to cultivate the power of therapeutic presence, while practicing at least one Whole Health skill to bring to their patients.

Intended Audience

Clinicians who are interested in exploring Whole Health, considering how it can be used to improve one’s own health and well-being, and implementing Whole Health into their professional practices.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the Whole Health approach
  • Apply deep listening and exploration of Meaning, Aspirations, or Purpose (MAP) to their clinical care
