2024 Primary Care Conference
About the Course
The overall focus of the 2024 Primary Care Conference is to discuss critical topics in primary care identified through professional practice, and provide learners with the knowledge, skills, tools, and resources needed to change their practice and improve the care of their patients.
Conference Format (Live In-Person OR Live Virtual)
Please Note: This conference is scheduled to be in-person at the Madison Marriott West, and also live streamed. This conference will not be recorded for post-conference viewing.
In-person conference attendance is limited, so we encourage you to register early. Method of attendance is available when you register for the program.
Conference Fees
Registration Fee:

Reduced Registration Fee for UW Health/UW Medical Foundation/VA/Meriter Employees:

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to help@icep.wisc.edu. Cancellation requests received at least 120 hours prior to the conference will allow a full refund except for the nonrefundable processing fee of $75. No refunds will be made for cancellations received less than 5 days prior to the activity start date.

Intended Audience
This activity is designed to meet the needs of primary care physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, and other health care professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge and improving their care of patients.
Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational activity, the healthcare team will be able to:
- Describe the latest evidence regarding diagnosis and evaluation of medical conditions
- Summarize state-of-the-art management of common medical conditions in clinical practice
- Employ new strategies to enact behavior change in patients
Practice Gaps and Needs
Based on documented gaps in current practice, this activity addresses critical topics in primary care identified through professional practice; local, regional and national data in healthcare quality; and requests from participants in related continuing education activities.
The overall focus of this activity is to discuss these practice gaps and provide participants with the knowledge, skills, tools and resources needed to change their professional practice and improve the care of their patients.
