Series Overview
Medical/Surgical Grand Rounds is a year round educational activity, teaching new information and enhancing both hospital and clinical skills. Grand Rounds provides physcians, physcian assistants, fellows, nurses, pharmacists, and other attendees with new and innovative developments in healthcare. Discussions include best practices, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing the patient and care team relationship.
Global Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Integrate new concepts, knowledge, new research, technology, and evidence based guidelines into our clinical and hospital practice.
- Enhance our ability to provide collaborative, team-based care in family/internal medicine and associated sub-specialty areas.
- Successfully disseminate information regarding disease prevention and public health factors within our interprofessional team and across our community to address health disparities.
