  • Discuss lateral ankle sprain (LAS) incidence and reoccurrence
  • Compare to high ankle sprain incidence.
  • Explain treatment concepts for 4 main joints involved proximal and distal tib fib, TC joint and ST joint to restore motion and optimal loading.
  • Identify current findings in neuro-cognitive changes post injury and why that increases risk of re-injury.
  • Discuss treatment pearls to improve neuromuscular control and decrease risk of injury re-occurrence.
