- Discuss lateral ankle sprain (LAS) incidence and reoccurrence
- Compare to high ankle sprain incidence.
- Explain treatment concepts for 4 main joints involved proximal and distal tib fib, TC joint and ST joint to restore motion and optimal loading.
- Identify current findings in neuro-cognitive changes post injury and why that increases risk of re-injury.
- Discuss treatment pearls to improve neuromuscular control and decrease risk of injury re-occurrence.
