UW Health 60th Pharmacy Reunion - August 4th, 2023
This continuing education activity is designed to provide participants market updates that are occurring for the 340B program. Participants will interact in a discussion, along with questions and answers from an industry expert to understand changing market dynamics from manufactures and legal decision, along with the developing strategies to support 340B program operations. Learners will also receive regulatory updates related to planned DSCSA requirements going into affect November 2023. Descriptions for proposed supply chain operations and potential technologies that can be deployed in a pharmacy to achieve regulatory requirements. Finally, learners will also receive UW Health Pharmacy program updates that have transpired over the past 24 months and opportunities for future program planning and expansion for the next 24 months.

This program is intended for pharmacist leaders and clinicians.
Learning Objectives
Following this training the participant will be able to:
- Identify key changing market dynamics occurring for the 340B program.
- Outline three strategies to support 340B program operations based on the insights gained from the market updates and legal decisions presented.
- Describe specific actions, including DSCSA requirements, that a pharmacy can take to ensure compliance with the upcoming regulations effective from November 2023.
