  1. Develop insight into the complex historical context of SCD in America and list ways in which that history may influence the engenderment of trust. 
  2. Identify our collective responsibility in advocating for patients with SCD in a manner that unites the voices of affected people, their communities and the healthcare systems that serve them. 
  3. List two transformative therapy options for SCD and be able to identify limitations to these therapies.
