The target audiences for this activity are Pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, pediatric critical care physicians, cardiac nurses, PAs, echo techs.

The global RSS objectives are:

  1. Review current guidelines, recent evidence and best practices related to diagnoses and treatment of congenital and acquired cardiac disease
  2. Discuss the appropriate application of echocardiogram as a diagnostic and treatment techniques for pediatric heart disease
  3. Discuss lab operation concerns raised during quality study analysis of lab function and develop a plan with the echo lab team to address discrepancies
  4. Discuss team-based management of the appropriate application of new diagnostic and treatment techniques to improve cardiology care
