  1. Discuss the rationale for and against universal cholesterol screening in childhood to identify familial hypercholesterolemia.
  2. Identify limitations to current pediatric cholesterol screening guidelines.
  3. Describe the current state of newborn screening for familial hypercholesterolemia.
