- Describe the major challenges with diagnosing tuberculosis in young children.
- Explain the limitations of the World Health Organization’s guidance on use of empiric antibiotics in children with complicated severe acute malnutrition.

- Discuss the rationale for and against universal cholesterol screening in childhood to identify familial hypercholesterolemia.
- Identify limitations to current pediatric cholesterol screening guidelines.
- Describe the current state of newborn screening for familial hypercholesterolemia.
