TITLE: Diversity On Trial: How to Sustain Individual and Institutional Efforts Towards Transformation
As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Evaluate and Explain the details around the reason Diversity is on Trial at the Supreme Court level.
- Contrast the argument that Educational and Experiential Diversity does not merit race conscious admissions policies in context with prior laws and practices which favored discrimination based on racial identification.
- Model using equity as a strategy at the institutional level across 5 specific domains, which are critical to advance health equity in the diverse communities we serve
- Formulate a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion individualized learning plan that allows you to advance your own knowledge and individual effectiveness, in the different aspects of diversity (i.e. Gender, Race or Ethnicity, LGBTQ+/Transgender, other).
