TITLE: An Evidence-Based Approach to Neonatal Hydronephrosis

As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  1. Explain the natural history and epidemiology of antenatal hydronephrosis  
  2. Interpret the clinical significance of hydronephrosis according to three common grading systems 
  3. Determine appropriate monitoring strategies for the infant with hydronephrosis and when to pursue more invasive imaging/treatment
