- Describe the goals of global surgery and the current state of global otolaryngology
- Discuss the burden of ENT disease in low- and middle-income countries and the five most common conditions
- Discuss the rising interest by residents in global surgery and the benefits of involvement for young surgeons
- Introduce example opportunities available for involvement in global otolaryngology, including here at UW
- Identify some of the ethical dilemmas involved in global surgery and otolaryngology
