After participating in this regularly scheduled series, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain principles of common orthopedic conditions, including diagnosis and treatment options (surgical and non-surgical). 
  2. Cite current evidence, guidelines and recommendations for management of patients with orthopaedic conditions.
  3. Analyze recent research and technologies and their potential to improve management of patients with orthopaedic conditions. 
  4. Initiate appropriate adjuvant and post-operative therapies and follow-ups for orthopaedic surgery patients. 
  5. Describe the roles of orthopedic practioners and other team members in providing effective patient care as part of an interprofessional and multi-disciplinary team.
