Global Objectives: 

As a result of participation in this educational series, participants will be able to: 

  1. Explain principles of common orthopedic conditions, including diagnosis and treatment options (surgical and non-surgical).
  2. Cite current evidence, guidelines and recommendations for management of patients with orthopedic conditions and communicate these effectively with other members of the clinical team.
  3. Analyze recent research and technologies and their potential to improve management of patients with orthopedic conditions
  4. Initiate appropriate adjuvant and post-operative therapies and follow-ups for orthopedic surgery patients.
  5. Describe the roles of orthopedic practioners and other team members in providing effective patient care as part of interprofessional and multi-disciplinary team.
