New this year - Neurology for the Non-Neurologist Pre-conference on November 11, 2026
Join providers from the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for a fast-paced, daylong event in which experts representing all subspecialties of neurology will present pearls of wisdom to guide primary care and internal medicine physicians and APPs in tackling commonly encountered neurologic problems. Discussions will include how to determine signs and symptoms of neurological disease, localize “the lesion,” order the proper tests, initiate treatment and refer to a neurologist, when necessary.

Please Note: This conference is scheduled to be in-person at the Concourse Hotel & Governor's Club, and also live streamed. This conference will not be recorded for post-conference viewing.
In-person conference attendance is limited, so we encourage you to register early. Method of attendance is available when you register for the program.

These educational activities are designed to meet the needs of primary care physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, and other health care professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge and improving their care of patients.

Casual attire is appropriate for this conference. Since meeting room temperatures and personal comfort levels vary, dressing in layers is recommended.
