This continuing education (CE) activity is designed to improve learner competence in the following areas:

- Interprofessional Education Collaborative Competencies: Roles/responsibilities, Interprofessional communication, Teams and teamwork
Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Identify psychotherapeutic interventions for pediatric anxiety symptoms including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness skills
- Discuss the role of pharmacotherapy in the treatment of pediatric anxiety disorders, including the use of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI’s)
- Describe common sources of stress for children and adolescents, and the relationship of stress with pediatric anxiety symptoms
