Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will:
1. Explain why babies exposed to different substances in utero have withdrawal symptoms.
2. Describe how to recognize babies at risk for or experiencing withdrawal symptoms.
3. Describe what can be done to support babies who are experiencing withdrawal symptoms after birth.
