Overview
This session examines suggestions to optimize design and use of personal SmartPhrases to improve note-writing quality and experience.
Intended Audience
This activity is designed for physicians who work with the EMR in their practice
Learning Objectives
By participating in this activity learners will be able to:
- Describe how tools for note writing, including Copy Forward, SmartTools, and NoteWriter decrease the amount of time needed to write a note and pull the necessary patient information into view.
- Develop tools to create a succinct, easy-to-read and informational note using personal SmartPhrases, SmartLists, SmartLinks, and clean formatting.
- Model how to share and copy SmartPhrases with colleagues to standardize practice among a group of providers.
