- Review neurologic complications of HIV in general
- Discuss the presentations of HIV-associated primary infection and HIV-associated infections of the nervous system
- Review the prevalence, presentation, and treatments of combined HIV and TB-associated CNS infections
- Differentiate HIV-associated nervous system illnesses in terms of primary infection, opportunistic secondary infection, and treatment complications
- Explain the burden of HIV-associated neurologic illness in Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly Ethiopia.
