Neurology for the Non-Neurologist 2023 - Recorded Conference
This online course is based on the Neurology for the Non-Neurologist virtual conference held in November 2023. This was a continuing education event paneled by providers from the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. It was a fast-paced, daylong event in which experts representing all subspecialties of neurology presented pearls of wisdom to guide primary care and internal medicine physicians, and APPs in tackling commonly encountered neurologic problems. Discussions included how to determine signs and symptoms of neurological disease, localize “the lesion,” order the proper tests, initiate treatment and refer to a neurologist, when necessary.
The course is an opportunity to learn more about basic stroke and epilepsy care, pediatric headache, neuropsychology, and palliative medicine.
