Neurology for the Non-Neurologist 2023 (Virtual Conference, Central Time), November 10, 2023
About the Conference
This is a continuing education event paneled by providers from the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. It is a fast-paced, daylong event in which experts representing all subspecialties of neurology will present pearls of wisdom to guide primary care and internal medicine physicians, and APPs in tackling commonly encountered neurologic problems. Discussions will include how to determine signs and symptoms of neurological disease, localize “the lesion,” order the proper tests, initiate treatment and refer to a neurologist, when necessary.
The course is an opportunity to learn more about basic stroke and epilepsy care, pediatric headache, neuropsychology, and palliative medicine. This is an opportunity to meet your Wisconsin experts, put a face to the name, and ask questions in an informal collegial setting. It is a guarantee that you will take something back to the clinic that will help you with patient care. We look forward to meeting you.
