Conference Description
The audience will learn the most up-to-date data on common and challenging gastrointestinal and hepatology problems frequently encountered in their patients. This includes reviewing the latest literature and studies on diseases of the esophagus, liver, pancreas, and colon. Incorporated will be the application of expert opinion in case-based examples of how the latest information, pharmacology, and endoscopic technology is applied to care for patients.

This activity is designed to meet the needs of gastroenterologists, general surgeons, advanced practice providers, and GI nurses.

As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Apply evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for common gastrointestinal disorders in clinical practice
- Demonstrate knowledge of advanced endoscopic techniques and emerging technologies including third space endoscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection, endoscopic submucosal dissection, and interventions in pancreatobiliary disease
- Evaluate complex clinical scenarios to determine optimal treatment algorithms for conditions such as pancreas necrosis, difficult biliary stones, post-transplant biliary complications, and refractory IBD incorporating current literature, and multi-D approaches
