Program Format
This activity will be held in-person at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, 333 West Kilbourn Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Program Overview
This activity focuses on advances in GI Endoscopy.
Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the needs of gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, advanced prescribing practitioners, and GI nurses.
Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Describe the evidence of management of the everyday clinical issues
- Outline newer treatment options for gastrointestinal neoplasia
- Identify principles of surveillance and treatment of early GI cancers
Elements of Competence
This activity has been designed to change learner competence and focuses on the American Board of Medical Specialties areas of patient care and procedural skills, practice based learning and improvement, and medical knowledge, in addition to the interprofessional competencies of roles/responsibilities and teams/teamwork.
