Speaker Biography:

Alex Birdsill, PhD, is an Advanced Fellow in the Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital and a Research Associate at the UW-Madison Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute. He earned his PhD in clinical psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and completed a clinical internship at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. His clinical work focuses on geriatric neuropsychology and his research seeks to prevent and delay cognitive decline. He is also interested in improving access to neuropsychological services and maximizing benefits from neuropsychological feedback.
