Speaker Biography:

Aaron Kuntz, MD, is an Advanced Geriatrics Fellow in the Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) at the Madison, Wisconsin Veterans Hospital. He received his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), along with a graduate certificate in Bioethics. He then completed Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His current focus is on quality improvement within the VA, with an interest in improving access to palliative care and advanced care planning for older veterans with COPD and dementia. He is also serving as the Lead Quality Improvement Educator for the palliative care fellowship.
