Series Overview

This weekly conference focuses on the care of pediatric cardiac patients through content-expert presentations and review of journal articles.  Learning occurs with the interprofessional team to incorporate best approaches into the practice of the entire care team.

Global Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  • Use current guidelines, recent evidence, and best practice related to diagnoses and advances in pediatric cardiology.
  • Engage in team-based management of the appropriate application of new diagnostic and treatment techniques to improve pediatric cardiology care.
  • Effectively work and communicate as a member of an interprofessional, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide patient-centered care which considers bespoke health needs of different populations.
